I think Cable is the guy. He went through quite a bit last year and it did not seem to bother him. He still kept his focus. I totally agree with the fact that DHB is a total bust, especially being the no. 7 pick of the draft. Murphy completely outplayed DHB, it is a joke that it took an injury to finally put the guy on the bench. I will also say that the attendance at the games will go down even further if Jabust and DHB are starting next year. The front office needs to address the 0-line and the D-line in the draft and free agency if this team is going to improve. Jabust and DHB are complete busts, just get over it and move on. I don't have anything against these guys as people, they are not worthy of wearing an NFL uniform.

Al, do us all a favor and get rid of Jabust and DHB!!!

In spite of the fact that the DA said: "The evidence is overwhelming that Cable did not mean to harm Randy Hanson"; his ex-wife of 17 years said: "In the 17 years I have known Tom Cable, he has never been violent towards me or our children."; his current wife said there was no physical confrontation between Cable and the bimbo who made the accusations; he has no record of any violence towards his players or coaches in his career; and the demeanor in which he conducts himself with the press; in spite of all that, there are still a large number of judgmental fans and yellow journalists who prefer to assume the opposite. In the old days that was slander. And he works well with Davis, who is the most difficult owner to work with (and who by the way gets to pick the first-round choices). Good job of smearing a decent guy, folks.

I like Cable too, and not just because the coach before him was a mealie mouthed lying sack of poo. Cable is a Raider, and I believe he will see us through once we solve the QB question.

Wish you could force feed this to some of the Bay Area mediots, and BSPN. So sick of hearing the non-story told over and over ad nauseum.

Same thing that I have been saying all along. Since seasons end, the media has said that Cable was gone. Who says that they are owed any explanations for the decisions made in our house? Two things that Cable and Al share in common: (1) They circle the wagons keeping silent til they deem necessary and (2) their love for the Raiders. Al loves that about Cable. Period!
