Yesterday, I wrote on the Pro Bowl controversy surrounding statements by Nnamdi Asomugha that were quoted by ESPN. The more I thought about it, the more I remembered Asomugha being asked about recruiting other players at the Pro Bowl to come to the Raiders.
Turns out, I was right. He was asked if he would be actively recruiting other Pro Bowlers to come to the Raiders. This is what he said:
If a guy wants to come here, I’m bringing him along. It’s building talent and that’s what we have to do here. And I can show them I have the facts, I can show them the games we did win and what we did offensively, defensively in comparison to the games we didn’t win and that’s something we can build off of. I think guys will be able to get behind that. We have talent and guys should appreciate that.
Not necessarily the type of answer you’d expect to get from a guy ‘wanting’ out of Oakland.

I think this is a classic case of ESPN’s continued irresponsible reporting on the Raiders. They continue to show they have no class when it comes to the Raiders and continue to alienate their viewers that are Raider fans.
